This Privacy Policy explains how FileMyFills ("we," "us," "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use filemyfills.com (the "Service").

1. What We Collect

Kalshi API credentials. When you connect your account, you provide a Kalshi API Key ID and private key. Your private key is used in memory for a single signed request and is never stored — not in our database, not in logs, not anywhere. Your Key ID is hashed (converted to a one-way, non-reversible code) and stored only to enforce the one-time free preview limit. The hash cannot be reversed to reveal your original Key ID.

Trade and calculation data. We store the results of your gain/loss calculation (totals, per-trade breakdowns used to generate your report, and the tax year selected) tied to a session, so you can access your report after payment.

Payment information. Payments are processed entirely by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card number, expiration date, or CVC. We retain a record that a payment was made (amount, date, and a Stripe reference ID) for our own accounting and to grant you access to your report.

Basic technical data. Like most websites, our hosting provider may log standard technical information (such as IP address and browser type) for security and operational purposes.

2. What We Don't Collect

We do not store your Kalshi private key. We do not collect your Kalshi account password (you never enter it). We do not sell, rent, or share your data with advertisers or data brokers.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use the information above solely to:

  • Calculate and deliver your gain/loss report
  • Process your payment
  • Enforce the one-time free preview limit
  • Maintain and improve the Service's reliability and security
  • Respond to support requests

4. Third-Party Services

We rely on the following third parties to operate the Service:

  • Kalshi — to retrieve your trade and settlement history, using the read-only credentials you provide
  • Supabase — our database provider, used to store session and calculation data
  • Stripe — our payment processor, used to handle checkout and payment data

Each of these providers has its own privacy practices governing data they process on their platforms.

5. Data Retention

Session and calculation records are retained for 90 days, after which they may be deleted. Your Kalshi private key is never retained at all — it exists only in memory for the duration of a single request.

6. Your Rights

You may request deletion of any calculation data associated with your session by contacting us at team@filemyfills.com. Since we do not require an account or login, we identify your data only by session — please provide relevant details (such as approximate date of use) to help us locate it.

7. Security

We use industry-standard measures, including HTTPS encryption for all data in transit, to protect information handled by the Service. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed at individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
